Christmas time in the Bjerkmann/Øverkil family.

Da har endelig den deiligste tiden kommet over oss igjen - Jeg elsker jul! Ikke så mye akkurat i går kl 0100 da jeg som den gode mor jeg er hang opp den 48`ende pakken på kalenderen......men jeg var ved supermot når jeg begynte.
Og alt strevet var verdt det da jentene oppdaget hva som hang på veggen (de hadde nemlig glemt at det var 1 desember i dag :-)

Tirsdag er kor dag...

Mandag kom og gikk uten at jeg fikk det med meg :-)
I dag er det tirsdag og det betyr kor for Fam, i Røyken Pikekor.
Hun synes det er kjempe gøy :-) Det er værre med lille Amanda som må være med hver gang men som ikke får synge! Men, vi gleder oss alle til Lucia konserten i Røyken Kirke den 10 desember.

A visit to the Fire Station in Asker - OPEN DAY - Sept. 19th

Birger was working, Bent was working, ......so Ylva & I took the kids to the Open day at Asker & Bærum Firestation. The place was packed & we managed about 2 hours there with Julian, Mikkel, Fam, Amanda & their friend Tina.

Fam was VERY excited before her first day of school.

Could not sleep & woke up with an stomack ace!!

But everything went very well. She has been looking

forward to this day for 2 years now & was more than ready!

As I mentioned before, I`m not very good at updating this thing on a regular basis :-)

But better late then never !?!

Here are some pics from Norways national day, May 17th.

We are all in our national costumes. Mine is from the Trøndelag region (middle of Norway) & Birger, Fam & Amanda wear one from Romerike.

Back to work.....

After another wonderful week-end I`m back at work. I love the week-ends with NO plans.
Fam had a friend over on Saturday & they played all day....we almost didn`t notise them :-) Here name is Jenny & when her mom said YES when they asked if she could sleep over they were SOOOOO happy! It doesn`t take much....

Saturday brought wonderful weather, sun & about 16 c (30c in the sun :-)
Birger didn`t have to work so we got to do some yard work instead :-)
I can`t belive it`s only April....& we have now finished stuff outside that usually isn`t done until July! Fantastic!

I also got a surprise visit from Eira this week-end!! It was only for a few hours but it was very nice. Fam & Amanda were sooooo happy to see their aunt (that for some reason live in Bergen & not here with us!! ;-).
The girls went to Plantasjen to get flowers & ice creem.
After Eira left Amanda fell asleep & when she woke up she was impossible to comfort,...she was crying, tears...snot...she couldn`t speak just. Finally she managed to say: " Tante Eia, tante Eia" (aunt Eira, aunt Eira). She cleraly misses her!
